Some of Janet Jackson’s fans will have to wait a while to see her Unbreakable World Tour. The 49-year-old singer has announced she is postponing her tour to start a family with her husband Wissam Al Mana.
The music icon made the announcement via a video on Twitter. “We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change,” Jackson said. “I thought it was important that you be the first to know my husband and I are planning our family. So, I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up — doctor’s orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Jackson first postponed some tour dates late last year to rest her vocal chords, per her doctor’s orders.
The Unbreakable World Tour, which kicked off in August 2015, was in support of Jackson’s number one album Unbreakable.
