It’s been four years since Usher released an album but he hasn’t been anything but silent. He released his politically charged single “Chains” featuring Bibi Bourelly and Nas last October. He recently collaborated with Yuna on her single “Crush,” this April. Today (June 9), the R&B veteran has released single “No Limit” featuring Young Thug. On the Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge and Christopher Perry-produced track, Usher pays homage to Master P’s label No Limit by using popular songs such as “Make Em Say Uhh!” to describe the lengths he would go to for his significant other.
“Got that Master P, No Limit baby/ Give you that black card, No limit/ Just know when you roll with a ni**a like me there’s no limit baby/ Make you say uhh! No limit/ I C-murder that no limit baby,” Usher sings.
Usher plans to follow-up “No Limit” with another track tomorrow named “Crash” which was produced by Carlos St. John and f a l l e n. Hopefully, both will appear on his forthcoming album Flawed.
Usher will be performing at the 2016 BET Experience along with Bryson Tiller June 23 – 26 at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
