Rising singer-songwriter Victoria Monet is back with a new single called “Ready,” along with an accompanying visual.
On the uplifting track, Monet sends a message to her fellow single female counterparts on how to gear up for they right guy.
“So just keep your mind right / And keep that body tight / Be everything you want to see in him, it’s only right / Better do it while you’re single / Is someone looking for you single,” she sings.
In the colorful video, Monet shows off some light dance moves in front of a ballet barre, before being joined by a couple of backup dancers.
“Ready” is lifted from Monet’s forthcoming project titled Life After Love. With that choice of title, we expect Monet to dive into the aftermath of a break-up and gives her fans insight on how she’s able to move on.
Monet is currently on Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour as a supporting act.
