Following their party anthem “Way Back,” TLC switches gears to tackle a more serious topic on their latest song “American Gold.”
On the Kayo-produced track, T-Boz and Chilli offer words of encouragement to anyone who is going through tough times in their life.
“Feelin’ undefeated / From the ones who try to have power over you / Don’t let ’em control youCan’t let ’em get through / Get through,” they sing.
“American Gold” is lifted from TLC’s self-titled album, which releases this Friday. The group confirmed that TLC will be their final album.
