PARTYNEXTDOOR is spoiling fans with new music. The Toronto native has released not one, not two but four new songs in a span of a couple of days — “Break Me Down,” “Damn,” “Put it on Silent” and “Damn.”
“Break Me Down,” which features Young Thug,” is about dealing with personal struggles come along in life. More specifically, the song finds PND reflecting on an ex who seems to be getting kick out of him being down. “Ain’t this what you wanna see? / Me breakin’ down / I feel you love the fact that I’m breakin’ down,” he sings.
“Damn” sees PND singing about lessons learned from a past relationship. “If you love me go and show it to me only / Passion, passion, passion, passion, I need passion /Thought forever meant forever, baby, god damn / I was trying to make this better baby, god damn,” he sings.
Going through heartbreak has turned PND into a savage. On “Put it on Silent,” PND plays the side piece role. He sings, “I’m the one you wanna creep with / I’m the one you wanna sleep with / Cause I’m the one that make you feel it / I’m the one that’s gonna keep it up / There’s someone out there with sympathy for your nigga / Not me.”
“Naked” is a catchy record made specifically for the bedroom. On the track, PND wastes no time and wants to get straight to business with his love interest. “There’s too much clothes on you girl / There’s too many hoes on you girl / I need you to get na-naked,” he sings.
PARTYNEXTDOOR’s slew of releases comes after his Colours 2 EP, which released in June. The “Come and See Me” singer is reportedly prepping his next project, Club Atlantis. While there aren’t many details about the mysterious project at this time, fans are anticipating it will be available soon. Earlier this month, a mysterious billboard for Club Atlantis was spotted in Toronto.
