Sammie enlists Maybach Music Group boss Rick Ross for his latest song “Good Life.” On the feel-good track find the two Florida natives enjoying the finer things in life.
“Welcome to the good life / Where the bottles come in dozens / Where what you thought, it really wasn’t / Welcome to the good life / Where we pass out until the morning,” Sammie sings.
“Working with Rick Ross was a dream come true,” Sammie told BET.com. “I was raised in Miami for six years of my childhood. It’s the city where I got my drive, heart and dedication from. My manager, Skino, got in contact with Slab of MMG and Slab took me to Ross’s house personally.
He continued, “I told Rozay, ‘Thank you for being a part of my campaign and come back. He replied, ‘It’s nothing, we love Sammie, it’s all love,’ and to make sure I hit him up for the video. The stars just aligned! Welcome to the ‘Good Life.’”
“Good Life” will appear on Sammie’s forthcoming album, Coming of Age, which drops on September 15 on Star Camp Music/EMPIRE.
On September 5, Sammie will join Tank on his month-long Savage Tour.
