After collaborating on “Feel the Real,” Musiq Soulchild and Marsha Ambrosius reunite on a new track called “For Better For Worse.”
On the track, Soulchild and Ambrosius get into an exchange about the ups and downs of a relationship. Soulchild shares his take from a man’s view, while Ambrosius gives her take from a woman’s perspective. “I hate the way you leave the toilet seat up, you so selfish,” Ambrosius sings. Soulchild responds with, “I’m used to being solo, all alone, so I can’t help it.”
Despite the all the compromising that comes with a relationship, it ends up being worth it. “For better, for worse / Even when you get on my nerves, baby / All the love you deserve / Don’t get no better or worse / And it better be worth it, baby / For better, for worse,” they sing.
There is no word on if “For Better For Worse” is from an upcoming project or is just a promotional track.
