Ella Mai, who is one of our artists to watch this year, is making moves at radio. The British singer’s song “Boo’d Up” has entered the top 10 at urban radio.
With a total of 2,638 radio spins, the song moves from No. 11 to No. 10 this week. It debuted at No. 50 in early March with 497 radio spins. Ella Mai is now the second female R&B act with a top 10 single at urban radio. SZA’s “Broken Clocks” is just one spot up at No. 9.
“Boo’d Up” also entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week at No. 78. It is her first time appearing on this chart.

“Boo’d Up” is lifted from Ella Mai’s Ready EP, which was released in February 2017. The 23-year-old singer is hard at work on her untitled debut album that is slated to release this year via 10 Summer Records. According to DJ Mustard, the project is “fire.”
@ellamai whole album fire no 🧢…… and I mean the whole album as in every song 🤷🏾♂️…..
