Jessie Reyez makes time for herself in the video for her latest tune, “Apple Juice.”
In the Phillip Harris-directed video, Reyez makes a vacation stop to Nice, France where she sings about love and its challenges. From getting a fabulous view from her boutique hotel to savoring in the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, Reyez basks in her love matters while relaxing.
Speaking on the song, Reyez told Zane Lowe, “You found me still honest, still crying, still hurt, still emotional. Stuff is very consistent. It’s just another part of my life, another moment, another chapter.”
“Apple Juice” is just one of many songs that Reyez has been working on this summer. She intends to release a new EP this fall on Island Records/FMLY.
