Tory Lanez and Bryson Tiller “Keep in Touch” with their distant lovers on their new collaboration. Tiller kicks off the retrospective track with a sweet ode to an old honey.
“You always got me on standby, when you know I need love,” Tiller coos. “I’m missing when we was us, Miss when I wasn’t famous / That’s when we could be us.”
Lanez picks up the phone and expresses his feelings to his old flame, singing, “I’m in first class, thinking about how you would get me right /Damn near made me miss the flight.”
“Keep in Touch” is set to appear on Lanez’ upcoming album, Love Me Now? The new project follows Memories Don’t Lie, which was released in March.
“I honestly can say that I’m more excited about this project than any of my previous ones,” commented Lanez on Love Me Now? “I feel like I’ve over-analyzed how musical and lyrical and balanced my albums had to be, therefore making the process take longer. This time around I’m just in a great space creatively and I don’t care about the opinions of anybody but my fans and real supporters.”
Tiller is working on Serenity, his follow-up to 2017’s True to Self. He is featured on H.E.R.’s new project, I Used to Know Her.
