Although we’re still in September, Jessie J is already getting in the Christmas spirit. The British singer has announced her holiday album, This Christmas Day, will arrive on October 26 via LAVA/Republic Records.
The 11-track album will include classics like “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bell Rock,” produced by David Foster. It will also feature guest appearances from R&B heavyweights Boyz II Men (“Winter Wonderland”) and Babyface (“This Christmas Song”).
“I had so much fun recording this holiday album,” says Jessie J. “I did it in fourteen days around my Summer tour, flying back and forth to LA from Europe. The chance to work with David Foster, Babyface, Rodney Jerkins, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, and Boyz II Men was a DREAM COME TRUE. The talent they all have blows my mind.”
She continues, “I love Christmas music and finally had the opportunity to record a Christmas album, I hope you enjoy the music with your loved ones and create magical memories at my favourite time of the year.”
In non-Christmas news, Jessie J is gearing up for her headlining The R.O.S.E. Tour with special guests Ro James and Kiana Lede. The month-long tour, which is named after her R.O.S.E. project, will begin on October 1 in San Fransisco, Calif.
