As promised, Victoria Monét shares part two of her Life After Love extended play series.
For 8-track effort, which serves as an extension to her February release, the talented songwriter-singer works on her recovering her heart and mind after a serious breakup.
A lot wiser and stronger on part two, Monét wants her fans to realize that “you’re still alive, you can find yourself, and it takes a lot courage and strength to do that.”
“New Love,” the project’s first single, received a Janet Jackson-esque inspired visual in August.
In addition to Life After Love Pt. 2, Monét is featured on the season three soundtrack of HBO’s Insecure. She has a solo song (“The Glow”) and a collaboration with Lucky Daye (“Little More Time”).
