Issa bop. Sevyn Streeter recreates a nostalgic moment on her new single titled “Yernin.”
Sampling The Gap Band’s ’80s hit “Yearning for Your Love,” the R&B siren viciously snaps as she curves lame dudes and throws direct shots to bitches she has shook.
“I heard you’re feeling shit / I don’t know what to say,” she rap-sings. “Tryna make it physical / Fuck around and catch a case.”
“Yearnin” appeared on the episode six of HBO’s hit show Insecure. The song could end up on her forthcoming project, Drunken Wordz x Sober Thoughtz, the follow-up to 2017’s Girl Disrupted. The LP featured her No. 1 R&B single “Before I Do.”
