Daniel Caesar and H.E.R. are spending the “Best Part” of 2018 on top. The two R&B newbies have reached the number one spot on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart with their breathtaking duet.
Leaping from No. 4-1, the Matthew Burnett and Jordan Evans-produced track unseats “Boo’d Up” by Ella Mai to arrive at the summit. The song debuted at No. 28 in mid-May.
Along with claiming the top spot on Billboard, “Best Part” is now No. 1 on Urban Adult Contemporary radio. It has amassed 2,202 radio spins since debuting at No. 43 with 81 radio spins in May.
This new feat makes two number one R&B singles for Caesar and H.E.R. The latter singer reached the top spot for the first time ever with “Focus,” while Caesar commanded the fort with “Get You” featuring Kali Uchis.
In other news, Caesar just premiered his new single titled “Who Hurt You?” On November 10, H.E.R. will launch her tour in support of her latest project, I Used to Know Her: The Prelude. She has invited R&B singers Bri Steves and Tone Stith as special guests.
