New York, stand up! With her most recent K.T.S.E. single “Gonna Love Me” staggering in the top 30 of urban radio, Teyana Taylor calls on three members of Wu-Tang Clan to give the bluesy record some poetic justice.
Over the Delfonics-sampled track, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon each exchange stinging rhymes that describes their adoring messages on black love. Taylor keeps her sweet sentiments intact.
Taylor has been named as the opening act at the TIDAL X: Brooklyn benefit concert. The fourth annual philanthropic event, benefiting criminal justice reform across the country, will take place on Tuesday, October 23 at Barclays Center.
Now with such a huge New York record on her hands, it makes you wonder if it will be added to Taylor’s set list.
