THEY. continue to make headlines. The Los Angeles-based dyad has released a hyperactive video for their new single “What I Know Now” featuring Wiz Khalifa.
For the high-sprung video, THEY. give fans a glimpse of what they’d experience at one of the duo’s concerts. Skipping out on an overarching plotline, the duo makes up in content with dazzling cinematography that captures all the dimensions of their show. Wiz Khalifa makes an appearance midway through, rapping his portion and bringing his own energy.
“Some of our favorite and most influential music came from the 90s, so we thought that shooting the video in the style of live performance videos from that era would really bring home and complement the song,” detailed Drew Love on the video inspiration. “It was also great to bring real fans through to be a part of the experience.”
“What I Know Now” will be featured on their EP, Fireside, due on November 9 via Mind of a Genius / WBR. The project will include star performances from Jessie Reyez, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign and others.
