Let’s be clear, Jill Scott broke the internet last week when footage from her seductive performance surfaced online. The clip showed Scott simulating oral sex on a microphone. We’re sure Scott’s DMs were in shambles from fans and colleagues.
While we won’t know who was sliding in Scott’s DMs, we do know Trey Songz was feeling it. In fact, he wrote a song inspired by her called “Jill (Sumn Real).” On the slow-burning tune, Songz samples Scott’s 2000 track “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)” from her debut album Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1.
On the track, produced by A-Wall, Songz asks his woman to show him how much she loves him in the bedroom — in a Jill Scott fashion.
In other news, Songz’ latest single “Shootin’ Shots” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tory Lanez is heating up. The Hitmaka-produced tune has over 2.4 million streams on Spotify.
