Elijah Blake plans to close out 2018 with new music. The skilled singer-songwriter has announced that he will release a new album titled Bijoux 23 on December 21 through Rkeytek Music.
The forthcoming project, which is an extension of 2013’s Bijoux 22, will include eight songs and a guest feature from Kaija. And from the looks of a recent Instagram post, Blake is pleased with the response from his team on Bijoux 23.
“This process has been different for me to say the least but what God has put on my heart to share with you all has kept me lifted throughout. Hearing the feedback, watch the head nods … that’s what makes it worth it it,” shared Blake.
Bijoux 23 will be Blake’s second project of 2018. He released Realm with Ben Strick under the duo name KaraJishi. The new record also marks Blake’s first solo release since 2017’s authentic Audiology.
“I really wanted the music to have my DNA on every song,” he said to Rated R&B. “This is the first project for me that I didn’t give a fuck what anybody said or what anybody wanted me to be.”
