As part of New Music Friday, Brooke Valentine serves up a Sip of new tunes before the year ends. The new work, which is her first project since 2013’s Love Letters, consists of six contemporary tracks including two previously shared singles “Connected” and “Swear to Gawd” with Bridget Kelly. Along with her latter guest star, Valentine joins forces with Kes Kross to brag on her good “Nookie.”
Valentine built buzz around Sip during her time on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood this fall. She entered into this new era with a song called “Change,” which didn’t make the cut of her new release.
