Usher hops in the race for the official “Peace Sign” music video.
The radiant visual starts with Usher sitting in a quaint diner. At first glance, it appears that he is waiting for someone to arrive. This assumption could be true, as frames flash with a curvy, bikini-clad damsel getting extra cute in the mirror. But it doesn’t seem like she is headed to the outing anytime soon. She, along with other baddies, are too busy dancing in a neon-lit room. But you’ll have to find out below if Usher’s date ever shows up.
“Peace Sign” is one of eight songs from his October release, A. Inspired by his 40th birthday, Usher and his producer Zaytoven created this project within a five-day sprint.
“We did not plan on making an album,” Usher told Apple Music. “I don’t think it was one song or moment where we realized. Stuff was just coming out. Zaytoven worked on a lot of tracks in the moment based off our conversations. This happened in a very organic fashion; 48 hours ago I decided, ‘Let’s put this out on my birthday.'”
