Childish Gambino is gearing up for a major festival run this year. The singer/actor has been tapped to headline Broccoli City 2019, along with rapper Lil Wayne.
Other artists set to perform at the annual festival include 6LACK, Ella Mai, Teyana Taylor, Lil Baby, Wizkid, Gunna, City Girls, YBN Cordae, Ade and New Impressionz.
Hosted by media personalities Scottie Beam and Rodney Rikai, Broccoli City will be held on Saturday, April 28 at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland. Tickets go on sale this Friday, January 18 at 10 a.m. at bcfestival.com.
Gambino will also headline Coachella in April and Bonnaroo in June. In other news, he is nominated for five Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year (“This Is America”). The 61st Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 8 p.m. EST/ 5 p.m. PST. The ceremony will be hosted by 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys.
