One day shy of his North American tour, Jacob Banks made his way to Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night (Jan. 14) to perform “Slow Up” and “‘Chainsmoking” off his debut album, Village.
Sporting a red denim outfit and a dark skull hat, Banks sent late-night viewers up a soulful creek with his rich tone and commanding presence.
The English bluesman kicks off his string of concerts tonight in Portland, Oregon, at the Wonder Ballroom. His soothing baritone voice will serenade crowds in other major cities, including Los Angeles, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta and more. The tour is in support of his first album, Village, which was featured on Rated R&B’s top 25 R&B projects of 2018.
