Elle Varner isn’t ready to leave the bar anytime soon on her new single “Pour Me” featuring Wale.
Over the melodic mid-tempo jam, which Varner describes as a “double entendre,” she requests another round of drinks as she laments about the love she’s lost.
“So pour me one more / One more, one more, one more / I’m thinkin’ bout you, been drinkin’ bout you / All night for sure,” she sings. Wale nails his rhymes, spitting about experiencing a high only his woman can provide.
Fans can catch Elle performing this track, “Loving U Blind,” and possibly more new music on Marsha Ambrosius’ Nyla tour starting later this month. We hope details surrounding Elle’s long-awaited sophomore album begins to surface in the coming weeks.
