After serving up “Money Pies” last August, Raiche releases a soulful single titled “Complicated” and its accompanying video.
“This song was written from a real situation in my life, dealing with the complexities of a relationship and how sometimes you have to say no to some things that may feel right,” Raiche told Complex.
Speaking on the video, which was directed by Child, the New England native said, “I love the way the director Child visually pieced my video together to match the conflicted emotion behind the song.”
“Complicated” is lifted from Raiche’s forthcoming EP, Drive, which will arrive this year on Island Prolific/Atlantic Records.
