The countdown for this year’s Governors Ball starts now. SZA has been confirmed as headlining performer, while Jorja Smith, Blood Orange, The Internet, Jessie Reyez, Ty Dolla $ign and Kaytranada are on the bill for the three-day music festival in New York City.
It’s likely SZA will take the stage to perform new music. She teased a dreamy track on Instagram (now deleted) in December 2018. The song played as the first original sounds from her much-anticipated follow-up to Grammy-nominated album Ctrl.
The 2019 Governors Ball Music Festival will be held on May 31-June 2, 2019 at Randall’s Island Park in New York City. Tickets go on sale now on the official website.
