The long-awaited debut album from Ari Lennox, one of Rated R&B’s Artists to Watch in 2019, is coming any day now. In a series of Twitter posts, the Dreamville signee answered fan questions surrounding her first album, Shea Butter Baby. One follower demanded a release date to which Lennox responded that “the date of the album release is incredibly soon.”

Shea Butter Baby is expected to have 13 tracks and will possibly get a deluxe version, according to Lennox’s recent tweets. It’s also possible that the R&B general Tank will be featured on the forthcoming album after he “absolutely” to her duet request.

In 2018, Lennox released a handful of satisfying tunes, including her album title track, “No One,” “Grampa,” and “Whipped Cream.”
