Chaka Khan and Michael McDonald are hitting the road together this summer. The two musical greats will begin their run of live shows on June 20 at the Rose Music Center in Dayton, Ohio. Khan and McDonald will head across the nation to play several amphitheater gigs in major cities like Spokane, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. The tour will end on August 4 in Rohnert Park, California, at Green Music Center.
Aside from her concerts with McDonald, Khan will venture out on her own to headline festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in May.
The performance dates are in support of Hello Happiness, Khan’s first album since 2007’s Grammy-winning album, Funk This. The record includes previously released title track and “Like Sugar,” the era launching single.
