Chloe x Halle made their Grammy debut on Sunday Night, performing a modern rendition of “Where Is The Love” by Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack. The performance was a tribute to the late Hathaway, who was a recipient of this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
Honoring the soul singer, the two were center stage for their performance in similarly designed black fan sleeved dresses. Chloe donned a long, one-sleeved gown, while Halle rocked a shorter number. Halle kicked the performance off with her sweet soprano and Chloe soon joined in, taking advantage of her impressive lower register. They soared throughout the act as they added their signature operatic and harmonic energy to the classic song.
The sister duo received two 2019 Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Urban Contemporary Album (The Kids Are Alright)
