After performing “Could’ve Been” with Tone Stith during her I Used to Know Her Tour, H.E.R. drops the official audio for their duet.
Stith confidently takes the place of Bryson Tiller, coming in with a new melody for the third verse. With his signature falsetto, Stith sings, “Every time I close my eyes I see your face / Should I hit you up or keep giving you space? / I better not find out somebody’s taking over my place.”
The original song recently became H.E.R.’s third top 10 song on the Urban adult contemporary radio chart.
As if she doesn’t have more to celebrate, the talented musician will be gracing the stage at the 2019 Grammy Awards as she’s up for five nominations.
In other news, H.E.R. was recently spotted in the studio with Sean Garrett and DJ Camper.
