Janelle Monáe lit the Grammy stage ‘pynk’ for her electrifying performance of “Make Me Feel” from her Dirty Computer album.
Bearing a black outfit with multi-fence net stockings, the free-thinking musician stood on stage with a league of fierce women as she belted the striking lyrics. Monáe worked the stage in Prince-esque fashion as she “let her vagina have a monologue.”
Monáe received two 2019 Grammy nominations, including Best Music Video (“PYNK”) and Album of the Year (Dirty Computer).
In other performance news, Monáe will take the Coachella stage in April. She also will headline for the West Holts stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. She previously performed at the festival in 2011.
