As the release date for their sophomore album Cosmic Wind approaches, Lion Babe travel back to the disco era for their latest video “Get Into the Party Life.”
Shot with a vintage camcorder, the duo and their lit crew are seen draped in hippie fashions. Their choice of clothing matches perfectly with their the carefree vibes as they mix the dance craves of the ’70s into their novelty scenery.
In addition to the video for “Get Into the Party Life,” Lion Babe debuted the long-awaited clip for their Leikeli47-assisted single “The Wave” in January.
On March 29, Lion Babe will drop their follow-up to 2016’s Begin. After having label interference with their first album, the pair told Rolling Stone that “Cosmic Wind is us in our new zone.”
They continued, “This album is in our vision to the fullest. We’ve brought on producers/artists/musicians who are good friends of ours and part of our core team, who’ve helped us take the music to the next level, embracing the sound we first began with.”
