Four months after releasing his debut EP Volume 1, Pink Sweat$ gears up for the follow-up.
Titled Volume 2, the new project is scheduled to arrive on March 29 via Human Re Sources. The announcement comes just a week after releasing the lead single, “I Know.”
To tie over fans, the Philadelphia native has released an accompanying video for “I Know.” Directed by David Karp and Courtney Loo, the post-apocalyptic clip finds Sweat$ and his leading lady (played by Camille Hyde) trying to escape a town that has been invaded by zombies.
“Zombies may run the world but we have to maintain our humanity in these dark times ‘it’s us against them,'” Sweat$ wrote on Instagram.
Pink Sweat$ will hit the road this spring for live show dates, including a festival set at BottleRock Napa Valley (May 25), a sold-out two-night stand at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California (April 3 and April 4) and a sold-out showcase at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom (April 8). Additional show dates will be announced soon.
In November 2018, Pink Sweat$ released his Volume 1 EP that included his popular track “Honesty.” The track has over 29 million streams on Spotify and its accompanying video has nearly 8 million views on YouTube.
