Tao Soprano of Dru Hill makes his solo debut with his brand new single titled “What Ever Happened to Love.”
Produced by Wirlie Morris (Charlie Wilson, Boyz II Men, Destiny’s Child) and written by Traci Hale (Rihanna, Brandy, Usher), “What Ever Happened to Love” finds Tao looking to restore that powerful connection between him and his ex.
“There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do / To Get you back here with me / The smoke don’t get me high (no) / And I can’t drink it away,” Tao croons.
Speaking on the creation of the song, Tao said, “This sound is different from what people are used to hearing from me. I love experimenting with different styles and producers. It was a fun song to do.”
“What Ever Happened to love” is the first single from Tao’s upcoming debut EP that is set to arrive later this summer.
