It’s The Amours time to shine. After lifting their dulcet voices together as background vocalists for PJ Morton, the sister duo (Jakiya Ayanna and Shaina Aisha) has issued their debut single “All the Time.”
For the lovesick affair, the pair daydream about the warm, ebullient feeling inside their hearts for the men who hold the keys. It takes each of them a minute to understand the true reason they’re languishing for him. But once love calls their names, they each quickly realize they want him around more frequently.
Judging the way The Amours’ fervent tones merge with the hazy synths and hip-hop flair of this pining tune, we can expect “All the Time” to serve as the perfect summer soundtrack for love this year.
“All the Time” lays the first music stone for their debut EP Mon Amour. Slated to arrive this spring via Morton Records, the project will showcase the beauty of their voices and talent.
On April 29, The Amours will join Morton on his Keys and a Mic Acoustic Tour. The first show starts in St. Louis and will end on May 12 in Nashville. See full dates here.
