After gifting fans with EPs to tribute his debut album Urban Hang Suite, Maxwell closes his string of projects with praise for to his beautiful tune “Whenever Wherever Whatever.”
Comprised of three versions, the EP includes a stripped-down rendition from his MTV Unplugged Live album. Fans also get treated to a Spanish interpretation and an unsung cut.
As previously mentioned, Maxwell has blown our minds with his rare set of recordings from his 1996 debut. He launched the music series in late-March with EPs for “…Til the Cops Come Knockin’” and his 508 RMX compilation to his 14th top R&B hit “Shame.”
Now, that Maxwell is done teasing, he is slated to drop the official leading for NIGHT, the conclusion of his BLACKSUMMERS’NIGHT trilogy, in the near future.
In the meantime, fans can purchase tickets to see Maxwell put on a show on May 24 at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino Event Center in Indio, California. He also will perform at Concord Pavilion in Concord, California the next day.
In July, Maxwell will headline night-one of the 2019 Cincinnati Music Festival.
