Chivalry isn’t dead. A year after releasing his sensual slow jam “Gentlemen,” Gallant celebrates its anniversary by recruiting T-Pain for the official remix.
Known to elevate an already dope song, T-Pain comes in for the second verse with his harmonic stylings and perfectly compliments Gallant’s sweet falsetto.
“You ain’t got to do any more speaking / We can’t waste our time on not taking it slow / So, baby, settle in, I’ll show you better than before / I’ll take you somewhere that you never been before,” vocalizes the Auto-Tune hero.
The remix serves as a sneak peek to Gallant’s long-awaited sophomore album. Declaring to fans that they “deserve an album,” the crooner is plotting for a summer release date. He already described the forthcoming work and follow-up to 2016’s Ology as his favorite album of 2019.
Earlier this year, Gallant offered up his rendition of Ne-Yo’s “Sexy Love” and also joined forces with SaLaAM ReMi for “Roll the Dice.”
As for the recent Masked Singer winner, T-Pain’s new album 1UP is available everywhere. He is supporting the new music on his North American tour, which ends on April 9 in San Diego.
