One wise R&B singer once said, “Take me as I am or have nothing at all.” Emerging R&B duo Emotional Oranges shares the same sentiment on their new single titled “Someone Else.”
Speaking on the song, the group says, “This is the first time we’ve collaborated on a track outside of our camp. Dante Jones of THEY. helped produce this one, we wanted it to be on some 2020 Dr. Dre x Emotional Oranges energy. Wrote it about openly telling my girl that if she’s unhappy, she needs to go be with someone else!”
“Someone Else” is lifted from the mysterious group’s upcoming project, The Juice Vol. 1. The song follows their previously released 2019 tracks “Built That Way,” “Corners of My Mind” and “Hold You Back.”
On May 20, the duo will launch their Chill Baby, Chill Tour in Toronto and will travel across the world, hitting major cities like New York, Paris and London.
Not much is known of the LA-based male/female collective, but it has been speculated that when Adele’s vocal coach and Drake’s engineer met at a bat mitzvah in 2017, the band was instantly born.
