Snoh Aalegra is having some second thoughts about “You” on her latest single.
Aided by a sinister production, Aalegra laments the pain she feels inside after her choice words pushed a lover out of her life.
“I wish I thought before I, spoke, yeah / Made up my mind before I talked / Everything close to me / Think you are no good to me / They don’t believe us,” she languishes.
“You” is Aalegra’s second release of 2019. In February, she premiered a sentimental tune “I Want You Around,” along with its accompanying visual. Before that, she teamed up with Luke James for the “Out Of Your Way (Remix).”
