Tank has hit a new peak on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart this week. After 13 weeks on the airplay-driven chart, his “Dirty” new single has claimed the number one spot.
Aside from him ruling the Adult R&B Songs chart, Tank is seeing the same chart-topping results on the urban adult contemporary chart, as the lustful track has just seized the top slot. The recent chart moves stamp the R&B General’s fourth single to secure these two victories.
“When We,” his last chart ruler, reign atop the Adult R&B Songs chart for 11 consecutive weeks after receiving strong airplay performance from his urban AC audience. The steamy joint snagged the Tank his first platinum single of his career. It also managed to reach the top five (No. 5) on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
As Tank continues to work on his Elevation, the follow-up to 2017’s Savage, he hinted last month that a “Dirty” remix is on the way with production support from Hitmaka. While he hasn’t announced the featured artists for the remix, it’s sure to be fire.
