After collaborating on hip-hop heavy jams like “Love is All We Need” to “Feel Inside,” Mary J. Blige and Nas are finally co-headlining a tour bill together.
Produced by Live Nation and Starz, the multi-date run will take off on July 11 in West Palm Beach, Florida, spanning across major U.S. cities including Atlanta, St. Louis, Houston, San Francisco, and Boston, before wrapping up on September 10 in Toronto. Some shows like the Cincinnati Music Festival date will find Blige headlining alone.
Tickets for the joint affair go on sale this Friday, April 19 on Live Nation.
Blige and Nas will lead the impending tour with a special anniversary performance on night-two of the 2019 Essence Music Festival in July. The duo hip-hop titans will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the festival, as well as their legendary albums My Life and Illmatic.
Along with her show at Essence, Blige is slated to play at the 2019 BET Experience for a curated show titled Ladies (U)nite! She is sharing the lineup with H.E.R., Summer Walker, Queen Naija and Bri Steves.
On the music tip for Blige, she is reportedly working on three new albums. She was spotted in the studio with the likes of Murda Beatz, DJ Camper, Prince Charlez, and Blush Writes working on follow-ups to 2017’s Strength of a Woman.
