It’s time to celebrate. Ariana Grande and her thank u, next collaborator Victoria Monét are riding the wave of number one success and have decided to applaud themselves with a new song titled “MONOPOLY.”
The trippy track hears the two stars swaggering about their attraction to women and men and gassing each other’s egos about their rise to the top of the charts. Monét tells naysayers she’s been “on a roll” while Grande calls her songwriting bestie her “cheat code.”
The dynamic pair show off the nonchalant track in a new video where they are seen hyping each other up in various shots, including a rooftop. Emojis galore float around the home video-esque clip as the two hitmakers prance around and dab on the haters.
Grande teased the “vintage gem” on her Sweetener World Tour last month. After being spammed by her fans to “drop it now,” the official audio has surfaced for their listening pleasure.
Grande also debuted “MONOPOLY” to reign in her eighth week at number one on the Hot 100 with “7 Rings.”
As for Monét, she will support Ella Mai on the second leg of her Debut Tour later this month. She will promote her two 2018 Life After Love EPs.
