Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson continue to build their empire one business venture at a time. The super couple has announced the launch of their new company, Why Not You Productions.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Why Not You will produce both scripted and unscripted content for film, television and digital media.

“While we work in different fields in our day-to-day, we are excited to come together to collaborate and create stories that we hope will touch people’s lives,” the Wilsons said in a joint statement. “We are both storytellers at heart and we want to be able to share stories that uplift people and inspire others to create positive change. That’s ultimately what we want this company to represent.”

Their new production company is named after their non-profit organization, Why Not You Foundation, which they launched in 2014. According to the organization’s website, it “is dedicated to creating real and lasting change in the world by motivating, empowering and preparing today’s youth to be tomorrow’s leaders.”

In addition to Why Not You Productions, Ciara also runs her own record label called Beauty Marks Entertainment. On May 10, she will release her first project under the label strategically titled Beauty Marks. The album will include her previously released tracks “Level Up,” “Freak Me,” “Dose,” “Greatest Love” and “Thinkin Bout You.”
