Janet Jackson is a generous queen. The iconic entertainer has just added three more dates to her Metamorphosis journey that begins this Friday (May 17) at The Park Theater in Las Vegas.
Originally set to perform for a 15-date residency, with the last stop on August 10, Jackson will now wrap up her show on August 17. She will entertain fans on-stage for two other dates — August 14 and 16.
For this refreshing run of shows, Jackson is expected to delight her fans through their “senses with electrifying visuals, explosive dance numbers, chart-topping hits and fan favorite deep cuts.”
She will also amaze fans with a special tribute to her landmark album Rhythm Nation 1814, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in September. Tickets go on sale for the new shows this Friday on Live Nation.
In between her Metamorphosis process, Jackson will headline night-five of the Glastonbury Festival on June 30 near Pilton, Somerset, England.
Prior to her aboard festival set, the global superstar will reissue her Control album on vinyl for the second time. Arriving on June 7 via A&M/UMe, the album will be available in two different color options: black and translucent red.
