An icon’s work is never done. After announcing her Las Vegas residency last month, global superstar Janet Jackson has now been invited to headline Glastonbury 2019 this summer in the U.K.
The five-day festival will see Jackson blaze the stage on its closing night. Other artists set to perform include Janelle Monáe, Jorja Smith, Lizzo, Wu-Tang Clan, The Killers, The Cure, Miley Cyrus and many more.
Glastonbury Festival 2019 will take place near Pilton, Somerset, England on June 26-30. Tickets for the series of shows have already sold out, however, fans can try their luck at general admission resales on April 28.
Prior to Glastonbury and her Metamorphosis Vegas residency, Jackson will be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Janelle Monáe will present the long overdue honor to the legendary artist on March 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
