Tao Soprano reflects on a past relationship in the video for his debut solo single, “What Ever Happened to Love.”
Directed by Oshy Films, the video takes viewers back hours before Soprano and his lady call it quits. Before the unfortunate breakup, the two lovers walk the streets of New York City and visit popular dating hangouts, including Ripley’s Believe It or Not! and The Brooklyn Diner.
“This sound is different from what people are used to hearing from me,” said Soprano on the creation of his Wirlie Morris-produced track. “I love experimenting with different styles and producers. It was a fun song to do.”
“What Ever Happened to Love” will appear on Soprano’s forthcoming debut EP, due out later this summer. His will be releasing a new single titled “Pull Up” very soon.
