TSoul just can’t find the right words on his new single titled “Speechless.” On the emotional, guitar-led track, the Virginia native tries to convey how much he is in love with his partner.
TSoul tells Rated R&B he originally wrote the track in 2012 with songwriter Jaron Smith. “At that time, I was in newly in love and the song accurately described the emotions that came along with that,” says TSoul.
After appearing on NBC’s The Voice, TSoul traveled to Stockholm, Sweden where he worked with numerous producers for his forthcoming project. “I returned to work with producer Moe Denebi further to finish the project,” TSoul explains.
He continues, “After all the new songs were created, I presented what I had of ‘Speechless’ to Moe and he loved it and began to play the guitar melody you hear in the song. We recorded the idea I had and then Moe and I created the bridge. After listening to the finished project, I knew it was time to release this song to the world as was a proper reintroduction that #TSouldiers new and old would appreciate.”
“Speechless” serves as the first taste of what’s to come from TSoul’s upcoming fifth studio album.
