As the countdown to the 2019 BET Awards continues, BET Networks has announced three more R&B voices who will take the stage: Fantasia, Kelly Price, and Jeremih.
They will join previously announced performers H.E.R., Lizzo, Lucky Daye, Kiana Ledé, and John Legend, who will participate in the Humanitarian Award performance for the late Nipsey Hussle.
Fantasia, whose latest single “Enough” just reached the top 10 on urban contemporary radio, is one of our nine suggestions for the Lifetime Achievement Award tribute for Mary J. Blige.
Raphael Saadiq and Jacob Latimore have also been announced as presenters for this year’s awards ceremony.
Beyoncé is the biggest R&B/soul act nominated at the 2019 BET Awards, with a total of four nominations, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Album of the Year for Everything is Love. Ella Mai, Childish Gambino, and H.E.R. are next up with three nods apiece.
Hosted by Regina Hall, the 2019 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 23 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles at 8 p.m.
