Jessie Reyez spent her birthday eve (June 11) serving as the musical guest on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The Toronto star performed her latest radio single “Imported (Remix)” featuring 6LACK.
With Reyez dressed casually in a baggy red t-shirt and rocking camouflage shorts, and 6LACK clad in a white look, the two shared the stage equally as they traded off verses about their bae exchange.
“Imported (Remix),” which is No. 19 this week on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs, is the lead offering from Reyez’ debut album due later this year. The singer recorded more than 100 songs for the release and is still working on the final track list to feature the most meaningful joints.
During the interim of the digital drop, Reyez is stacked for festivals this summer. She is set to play at Firefly Music Festival and Rock Werchter Festival later this month. In July, Reyez is booked for the Montreux Jazz Lab and Mad Decent Block Party Fest. Ticket information is available on her official website.
