Three years have flown by since we last heard a full-length studio album from Fantasia. Now, the rock-soul queen is ready to show off the masterpiece from the pages of her Sketchbook, her indie follow-up to 2016’s The Definition Of…
Tasia announced the title of her forthcoming album in a recent promotional video that surfaced online. “The album is called Sketchbook and I feel like my life is a painting so far,” said Fantasia dressed in an edgy getup.
Fantasia joined forces with longtime visual collaborator Derek Blanks to take her vision of over-the-top glamour to a different creative level this time around. She plans to take the captured shots, which have been seen online, and turn them into drawings for the album packaging.
Beyond the album artwork and title, Fantasia’s lead single “Enough” is climbing up the charts. The beautiful love song is No. 15 on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart, as well as on the urban adult contemporary radio chart.
Sketchbook, due later this year, will feature a vocally-pleasing collaboration between Tasia, Jazmine Sullivan and Brandy.
