VanJess is putting in work. Just a month after releasing a sugary remix for “Honeywheat” with Saba, the sister duo taps MNEK for the official “Through Enough (Remix).”
MNEK’s verse references Lisa Stanfield’s “All Around the World” and finds him putting his melodic undertones to work as he addresses his “shady” journey to finding a keeper. He also assists the ladies with ear-pleasing harmonies and runs.
The original version of “Through Enough” appears on their Silk Canvas debut and features GoldLink.
VanJess have been snatching our edges bald this year with release after release. They teamed with Kaytranada for his “Dysfunctional” collaboration in April. They also released an “Addicted” remix compilation featuring Bas and other alternate versions.
On July 5, VanJess will bring their lush sounds to the superlounge stage at the 2019 Essence Music Festival.
